I was told I might need a second jaw surgery. Thankfully, I got a second opinion first. When I first moved to Seattle, I was dealing with ongoing bite issues despite already having had orthognathic surgery (upper and lower), wearing braces, and wearing Invisalign. Another provider here told me more surgery might be necessary. Dismayed, I sought a second opinion at Pacific Orthodontics, and am so grateful I did. Dr. Doppel recommended taking the Invisalign off entirely, skipping additional surgery, and instead pursuing myofunctional therapy. That recommendation has been genuinely life-changing. She has a deep understanding of how anxiety, mouth-breathing, tongue posture, and jaw clenching are all interconnected and how they affect orthodontic outcomes. Her bedside manner is the best I've encountered anywhere. I also want to highlight the front office staff, who are consistently friendly and responsive whenever I've had questions about my retainer or mouth guard. Everyone in this office is excellent, from the clinical team to the front desk. If you've had frustrating experiences at other dental practices in Seattle, Pacific Orthodontics is worth the visit!

I heartily recommend Dr. Doppel. She is a highly skilled orthodontist who also communicates clearly. Her staff are proficient and friendly. My emails and questions were promptly answered and the two referrals I needed during treatment worked out well. In her care, I completed treatment (braces) sooner than estimated or expected. Based on my experience as an adult patient, I am certain Dr. Doppel is good with children and makes the orthodontia experience fun for them.

Fast, Friendly, Efficient!

I was referred to Dr. Doppel by my dentist for concerns related to my bite and TMJ and was truly impressed by my experience at Pacific Orthodontics. Having lived in different cities and countries, I've seen my fair share of dentists and orthodontists over the years, so I don't write reviews lightly. When I contacted the office, the scheduling coordinator was welcoming and professional. She answered all of my questions in advance, including practical details such as parking and the office location, which made the visit seamless. Dr. Doppel has an excellent bedside manner. She is kind, soft-spoken, thorough, and conservative in her approach. She took the time to listen carefully to my concerns, perform a comprehensive evaluation, explain her findings, discuss treatment options, and answer all of my questions without making me feel rushed. I would also like to recognize Siobhan Collins, the treatment coordinator. She was wonderful to work with from beginning to end. She listened attentively, showed genuine empathy, and made me feel heard and understood throughout the process. That level of care and professionalism made a tremendous difference to me when discussing concerns that were causing me a great deal of stress. While there is a consultation fee, I found it to be well worth the cost. The quality of the evaluation, the time spent with me, and the professionalism of the entire team exceeded my expectations.
