Katie is our Scheduling Coordinator and a graduate of the University of Hawaii at Hilo with a Bachelor of Science degree in Conservation Biology.
She loves to travel the world and spend time with her son, husband and rescue dog, Ziggy.
Katie likes to interact with each person one-on-one to get to know them better. She brings friendly enthusiasm to the office and we are sure you will enjoy meeting her!

Originally from the Philippines, Nikaya made Washington her home six years ago. Although she had taken some nursing classes, her true calling led her to the dental field, where she embarked on her journey as an orthodontic assistant four years ago.
Nikaya fills her free time with playing computer games, exploring new areas, and embracing new experiences. Nikaya brings warmth, skill, and a genuine love for her work to our orthodontic practice.
The best part about being an orthodontic assistant is seeing our patients with bright eyes and a wide smile after their treatment. I also really enjoy learning new things everyday from patients and my co-workers.
Emilio brings both skill and compassion to our team. Born in Los Angeles, California and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, Emilio has been dedicated to the orthodontic field since 2018. He discovered his passion for orthodontics after undergoing life-changing orthodontic treatment himself. In his free time, Emilio loves to travel, stay active through exercise, and spend time with family and friends.
My love and passion for orthodontics push me to be a better assistant for each of my patients. As a detail-oriented person, every small detail counts to achieve that million-dollar smile.
Siobhan began her career in orthodontics as an Orthodontic Assistant in 2008. As our dedicated Financial Coordinator, she not only brings extensive knowledge and exceptional expertise in the realm of Orthodontics but also takes immense joy in assisting individuals in attaining their desired smiles. When she’s not at work, she loves spending time with her son and exploring the great outdoors.
Helping people improve their oral health and achieve their desired smiles is such a rewarding experience.
Rick’s dental career began while enlisted in the US Navy where he was placed on board the USS Sacramento in the 2 operatory dental clinic. He gained a wealth of experience in the dental field while traveling the world. After his stint in the Navy, he settled in Seattle. He loved working at an amazing, busy Downtown dental office for 32 years until his boss retired. Having known Dr. Doppel for 20+ years, he joined our team when he learned we had an opening.
When not working, Rick lives with his partner of 21 years, 2 cats (Oliver and Damon) and their dog (Zumma). They enjoy the art of Bonsai, gardening, camping, cooking and enjoying LIFE.
